EDELE (Epidemiology of Dying and End-of-Life Experience) is an access point for healthcare providers,
community service agencies, advocacy organizations, health services researchers, and state policy
makers to find data about the experience of end of life. EDELE is not a resource for
finding end-of-life services.
We have searched the Internet to identify web pages and websites that provide data about people who
died and their families, healthcare and community resources available for end-of-life care, use of
these resources, and outcomes and satisfaction with care. EDELE links users to these locations on
the Internet.
EDELE is focused on making existing data readily available to program planners and decision-makers.
We have done the research so that users can go directly to data displays in a minimum number of clicks.
We also provide information about the source and type of data found at each web page in the EDELE
database.
The EDELE website (edeledata.org) offers several strategies for searching the EDELE database of web
pages. Users can search for data by topic, keyword, state, or frequently asked questions. EDELE
returns an annotated list of websites where there is data relevant to the request.
EDELE does not collect, collate, analyze, or provide custom reports on any data.
